KBShimmer Blush Money is Perfect for Spring!

Hiya Guys!!

Wow...This post has been a long time coming! First let me start off by saying how much I missed it around here, second let me say that I did not mean to entirely disappear from the blogsephere all together. Initially when things got crazy, I was hoping that things would mellow out in a couple weeks, then that became after the holidays, then since I got a new puppy for Christmas (which I have pictures of!), it became by the end of January, and now here we are in May :l This long absence from all things nails, was NOT planned, but school, a new puppy, general life, and a incredibly weird eye infection that lasted a month (seriously!!..it was awful!), all took their toll on me, and left very little time left over for my nails. You should have seen the state my nails were in even just a few weeks ago :( They were sad, peeling, crazy bad cuticle messes! Thanks to BlissKiss though, my nails are at least passable! and so today I have some nubs to show off!!

For my first nail art in over a month, I wanted to keep it fairly simple, since I figured that I would be a tad rusty to say the least. So I started with a base of KBShimmer Blush Money, which is a gorgeous gorgeous spring pink, with not only holo, but gold shimmer throughout it. It is part of KBShimmer's 2015 Spring collection, and I just adore it. I picked up a few  polishes from this collection (of course all the holos! :P) and this one is a stand out for sure. If you only get one polish, I am certain it should be this one. It is just so pretty, and the gold shimmer makes it really unique. The gorgeous holo  nail porn on my ring finger is Different Dimensions Big Bang, and let me just say...LOVE...that is all that needs to be said, seriously..no other words...

Once that was dry, I stamped in Models Own Green Chrome, from the Chrome collection using Pet'la's Flower Plate. This was a special release plate for the Adventures in Stamping Facebook group, and it is no longer available. It was a one time release for AIS  members, and was sold in a group buy. I am sorry to tease with something that is no longer available, but I just adore this plate, and had to use it! I just love those flower/wisps things...I am not sure what the hell they are, but they sure are pretty! haha  I  top coated everything in KBShimmer Clearly on Top and voila! easy peasy spring nails! Which is right up my alley since I am so out of practice!

I really love how spring looking this is, winter was a crap season for me this year, although I always pretty much have no love for winter since I love the sunshine and the heat so much. These nails were bright and fun, and they did an awesome job of getting me excited.

Now, I promised puppy pictures at the beginning of this long and rambling blog post...soo without further ado, here is one of the better reasons my blog took a back seat the past couple months!

This is Ari. (pronounced Are-E) She is a Rottweiler, Border Collie mix. She is a rescue puppy and is just about a year old now. She is full of life and energy, and is the loveiest snuggley dog I have ever met. She is a lap dog trapped in a big dogs body. She is a serious baby, and fits in perfect with out family, and Loki.  Her and Loki actually make me feel like I have my own personal Dragon and Donkey (Shrek reference ftw!) She is also a handful, but aren't the best pets the ones that are a handful!? I just love her to pieces!! I am sure her's and Loki's shenanigans will sneak their way into this blog over the coming months, so I hope you all think she is cute!? Seriously though, with a face like that, how could you not!?

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today. I really hope you all can forgive my insanely long absence. I missed it around here, and I missed even more having a place and community to share my passion. No one but the awesome nail art community gets my love and joy of polish, and nail art!  I can't promise that I will be posting more than once a week right now, since things in my life are still hectic and unfortunately that doesn't look like it will change in the near future, however I will make an effort to post at least once a week. I promise! I am hoping to at least get to posting on instagram a few times a week, since that doesn't require a whole blog post, and we all know how wordy rambley I can get :P It is like micro blogging, and is much more manageable for me at the moment, so if you aren't following, now is probably a good time to do so! :D Till next time Kittens! <3

Born Pretty Leaf Studs make the Perfect Fall Nails!

Afternoon Guys!

Today I want to show off how I wore  these adorable, super cute maple leaf glitters! from Born Pretty Store!

Born-Pretty Leaf-Stud

These adorable leafs come in a plastic jar, and are filled with the colour of your choice, as you can see I picked gold, since that seemed to prefect for fall. They retail for $2.53, and of course Born Pretty has free international shipping! Also, using my code AFLW10  will get you an additional 10% off!

KBShimmer-Deja-Brew-Born-Pretty-Store-Leaf-Studs

As you can see these studs add a perfect fall accent to any look. They are highly reflective since they are metal, and even top coat doesn't dull the shine! A few things to note however are that because they are metal, they can be a bit scratchy, I have found they have been catching on a few things since I have had them on. I only used one coat of top coat however, so another coat might fix that problem. Even so, they are gorgeous enough to justify a small amount of catching! I have already had several compliments on my nails since putting these on! These also lay pretty much completely flat on my nails, and since I have such a wicked c curve to them, this was something that really impressed me, since I do have trouble with large glitters and some studs, not lying flat. All my C curve nail ladies will understand that one!  #FirstWorldProblems! :l amiright!?

To get this look, I started with a base of KBShimmer Deja Brew on all my nails,  (which btw is more awesome in person than any picture I have seen!) Gloomy weather and my light box made it so that I unfortunately couldn't get a good holo shot, but I promise it is there and it is gorgeous! Once that was dry, I took the Leaf studs and placed them on my thumb (not shown) middle, and pinky fingers, and top coated. I then took Bundle Monster  BM-H11 and stamped in Essie Good as Gold. I then top coated that, and voila! Super adorable fall nails!

I really like that the leaves add a lot to this look without it over powering the other parts, it also dresses up the stamping perfectly, and we all know how much I love to dress nails up with studs!  I can certainly see this being the perfect accent to any fall look!

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today! If you are interested in these studs they can be purchased here.  If you do get these, or anything really from Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use my code AFLW10  to get 10% off! Till next time Kittens! <3

**Nail studs were sent for review, however all opinions are my own.** To see more information please see my disclosure policy.

KBShimmer Stonewashed to bring in November!

Heya Guys!!

Happy November! Today I want to show off a gorgeous fall inspired look using a whole slew of gorgeous fall polishes, before we get started though, I just want to touch on the absence around the blog the past few weeks. If you follow me on instagram, then you know that I have been laid up with a nasty sinus infection. :l that has been the suck. So sucky in fact, that I  have mostly had naked nails, since the fumes and a sinus infection do not get along. I am glad to say though, that I am back, and finally starting to feel human again! So there's that...Alright, enough talk, let's get to today's nails!

KBShimmer-Stonewashed-Fall-Nail-Art

It has been rather cold here lately, and you can tell winter is just around the corner. I wanted to do some nails that really captured the cooler temperatures, and this was the end result! I at first thought this look might be to busy, but once I got it all on my nails, I fell in love! I even got brave and attempted some freehand (a very little!) and that even turned out pretty good!

To get this look, I started with a base of piCture pOlish Totes on my pointer and ring finger, a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff on my thumb (not shown) and middle finger, and a base of KBShimmer Stonewashed on my pinky. Once that was dry, I took a makeup sponge and did a gradient, with piCture pOlish Totes, and Zoya Pepper and Louise. I then added some Fairy Dust by China Glaze to add a bit of sparkle. My middle finger was stamped with Pueen Buffet Set 55 in Mundo De Unas Red 9, Geranium 53, and Yellow 11. I added the blue lines using Stonewashed and a nail art brush. I then top coated the whole thing with KBShimmer Clearly on Top and I was done!

If you have been around here a while, you know that fall is not my favourite season, that my heart belongs to summer, however this look, makes me rethink that....almost! :P  I really love the muted rich colours in this look, and it really has me feeling the season!

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today. I hope you all enjoyed my fall inspired nails as much as I did! Is anyone else into the rich fall colours!? Have you done any fall themed nails? Let me know! Till next time Kittens! <3

KBShimmer Rust No One and Colors By Llarowe Orange Crush Comparison.

Heya Guys!!

I have a bit of a different post today. Recently I bought KBShimmer Rust No One, which is a gorgeous, red leaning orange holo, that is just perfect for fall. It arrived today, and upon unpacking it I noticed that it reminded me of something I already have. I searched my helmer and pulled out Colors By Llarowe Orange Crush, and sure enough the bottle shots made me wonder how close these two really were...so you get a comparison post today!

KBShimmer-Rust-No-One-Colors-By-llarowe-Orange-Crush-Comparison-Swatch

As you can see, the bottle shots make them look pretty close, but how close are they really??  Read on to find out!

My pointer and ring are KBShimmer Rust No One, and my middle and pinky are Colors By Llarowe Orange Crush. I did 2 coats of both polishes, and a top coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

KBShimmer-Rust-No-One-Colors-By-llarowe-Orange-Crush-Comparison-Swatch

KBShimmer-Rust-No-One-Colors-By-llarowe-Orange-Crush-Comparison-Swatch

KBShimmer-Rust-No-One-Colors-By-llarowe-Orange-Crush-Comparison-Swatch

As you can see, NOT dupes, although  they are really close. I would definitely say sister polishes for sure! KBShimmer Rust No One leans a bit more red then Orange Crush does, and in most lighting you can tell the difference between the two, however, under dim lighting I wasn't really able tell so they are certainly close. Both polishes applied amazingly well, KBShimmer Rust No One is a tad more thick then CBL Orange Crush, but both are really easy to work with.  The holo on both is almost exactly the same in strength and look, neither washes out in the shade, and both make a bright, but not overly strong rainbow in the sun.

So, now the question is, do you need both!? The polish addict in me says yes since they aren't dupes, but they are pretty close, and Orange Crush was a limited release Super Bowl polish, so it might be hard to track down. I would say if you missed out on that, Rust No One is a great substitute and a good way to squash that CBL lemming if you have been lusting after it. Both are great polishes, and honestly I am glad both are in my collection!

Alright guys and gals I think that covers it for today. I know this isn't a normal post for me, but I really hope you guys liked it. I actually had a lot of fun doing this, so perhaps if this is received well I will do some more posts like this! Till next time Kittens! <3

#RedCoatTuesday: KBShimmer Vicious Circles

Heya Guys!

It's Tuesday and that means #RedCoatTuesday nails! Sadly the Pretty Little Liars season is coming to a close tonight, so this will be my last Red Coat post for a little while. I decided on a gorgeous fall polish from last year, KBShimmer Vicious Circles. It is a gorgeous red jelly polish, with a ton of holographic circle glitters, and seriously does anyone not love circle glitters!

KBshimmer-Vicious-Circles-Messy-Mansion-Nail-Stamping-MM44

KBshimmer-Vicious-Circles-Messy-Mansion-Nail-Stamping-MM44

KBshimmer-Vicious-Circles-Messy-Mansion-Nail-Stamping-MM44

I paired this with some Messy Mansion stamping from the MM44 plate. I know I have used a lot of lace in these, but seriously, I can't seem to get enough  of lace nails! I am addicted. I admit it, I have a huge addiction to lace stamping plates and lace nails! lol!

To get this look, I started with a KBShimmer Vicious Circles on my thumb (not shown) pointer and pinky fingers, and a plain red base of Rimmel London Stiletto Red on my middle and ring fingers. Once that was dry, I got out the Messy Mansion stamping plate, and stamped in Cult Nails Nevermore. I added a red gleequin to the centre of the flower, which catches the light nicely in person, but didn't really show up much in photos. I then top coated everything in KBShimmer Clearly on Top and I was done!

As a side note, I did all this over a base of OPI Glitter Off, and I know the reviews have been super mixed and mostly unfavorable towards that base coat, but it seems to work amazing with my body  chemistry. I put this on yesterday morning, and have been particularly hard on my hands since then (shower, dishes, a puppy bath, and even some Mr. Clean)  and I haven't even had so much as had tip wear so far. I will keep you posted on it since I need this to last at least till tomorrow, but I just thought I would add this in for anyone who has been on the fence about trying this, but  is also hesitant since reviews were less then stellar.

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today! I still have a bathroom to clean today, so I guess I should stop procrastinating and get on it! Ahh, the glamorous life I lead! Ha! Till next time Kittens! <3

KBShimmer Full Bloom Ahead to Wonderland!

Heya Guys!

Recently I re-watched Alice in Wonderland for the millionth time, and it was during that movie that this mani was inspired.   Anyone who has seen the movies previously, likely remembers these flowers.

When I was a kid, these were by far one of my favourite things in all of Wonderland, not that the broom dog, wasn't awesome too, cause well, broom dog, but I just loved the vibrant colours and unique shape, of these flowers, possibly the flowers being able to talk and sing, might have added to my interest in them. Either way, when I re-watched that movie, I couldn't help but think to myself, "How have I never done these flowers on my nails before!?"

KBShimmer-Full-Bloom-Ahead-Swatch-with-Floral-Nail-Art-3

KBShimmer-Full-Bloom-Ahead-Swatch-with-Floral-Nail-Art-4

I am really proud of how these came out. They really remind me of the flowers from Alice in Wonderland that I loved so much as a kid. I paired these flowers with one of the new  KBShimmer spring shades Full Bloom Ahead, which is a gorgeous sister polish to KBShimmer Oh Splat!

Full Bloom Ahead goes on smooth, and there is no fishing for glitters, although this is the norm when it comes to any KBShimmer shade, so I wasn't surprised it was a dream to work with.

Now, for the flowers, this is where it gets a bit complicated since I used so many polishes. I started out with a base of Cult Nails Tempest, then once that was dry I painted the flowers onto the nail, using a nail art brush, and a dotting tool for the centre.  The dotted lines down the middle of each flower nail, was done in Picture Polish Chillax.  I will list the polishes  I used for the actual flowers below, since there were so many, I think trying to type them out here, would get a bit complicated. The first one, will be the outside darker colour, and the second will be the inside lighter colour.

Polishes Used:
Purple Flower - China Glaze - Grape Pop, China Glaze -Tart-y for the Party.
Blue Flower - Picture Polish  - Swagger, Julep Margaret
                      Red Flower - OPI  - Live.Love.Carnival, Picture Polish - Peaches n'Cream.
Orange Flower - Picture Polish - Totes,  Jessica Cosmetics - Banana Peel.

Even though my freehand still needs some work, I feel I am learning a lot and getting better every day. Overall, despite it not being perfect, I really do love these and I am fairly certain I will be rocking these pretties for at least a few days.  Do movies ever inspire your nail art?  If so, what movies? Let me know in the comments! Till next time Kittens! <3

KBShimmer Make My Gray Swatch, with a bit of MoYou Stamping.

Heya Guys,

We have been having a lot of rainy April days around here lately, so when I received KBShimmer Make My Gray in the mail, last week, I knew it had to go on my nails, the second I had some free time. Well, I found some free time today, so here is what I came up with for wearing Make My Gray.

KBShimmer-Make-My-Grey-Swatch-with-Moyou-London-Nail-Stamping-3

KBShimmer-Make-My-Grey-Swatch-with-Moyou-London-Nail-Stamping-4

Make My Gray, is a soft,  gray crelly, with adorable coral,  pale aqua, and gunmetal gray glitters.  It is such a unique combination, and I think that is why I love it so much. Also, it really does remind you of a rainy spring day.  I paired this with OPI Live.Love.Carnival on my pointer, and OPI Can't find MY Czechbook on my pinky. I then stamped with Cult Nails Tempest, using a MoYou plate, can't remember which one. It was a Pro plate, but the number escapes me at the moment, sorry.. :l

I like, that this is soft for spring, but that the, coral and aqua blue shades give it a bit of a bright factor, they also really make the glitters in Make My Gray pop! Make My Gray, like any other KBShimmer shade I have ever tried, went on beautifully. The glitters came out of the bottle without any fishing, and the polish was super easy to work with on the nail. If you are looking for a super unique spring shade, then I highly suggest considering picking this one up.

Alright, guys and gals, I think that is pretty much it for today, or I guess this evening  since it is well after dinner time. Oh! before I sign off here, I will give a brief update on the nail room project. If you follow me on instagram you know that, I have made a few "nail room" posts, so you have seen a bit of how it is coming along, but just to let you all know, I sh tould be done by the weekend. I just wanna pick up a couple more things of furniture to fill out the room, and I will be done! I am using the room already though, and I will just say, I love it! I love everything about it, it is like my little sanctuary! As soon as I get the last little touches, I will be sure to put up a post, and share it with you all! Alright that's all for now, till next time Kittens! < 3

KBShimmer Rollin' With the Chromies Swatch and Review.

Hey All!

Happy Friday guys! Today I have for you, a shade from the recently released KBShimmer winter collection. This is Rollin' With the Chromies, let me just start by saying, holy hard to photograph!  I think I sprained my wrist trying to get all the colours, and depth in this amazing polish, and if the shade shifting multi-chrome awesome isn't enough. It has a linear holo too!  I only picked up one of the multi-chrome shades from this collection, but after seeing this in person, I decided I need the rest in my stash.

KBShimmer-Rollin-With-The-Chromies-Swatch-Review

KBShimmer-Rollin-With-The-Chromies-Swatch-Review

Isn't it just incredible!? I mean, look at all that multi-chrome awesome, and the linear holo! There is so much going on with this polish, that I am not even sure where to begin. It also, applies wonderfully, without any streaking, or bald spots. This is a shade, that I will totally be wearing over and over again!  As an added bonus, as you can see from the images, it makes a pretty decent stamping polish too! It isn't incredibly dark, or super opaque, but I was looking for a simple, soft look, that wasn't over the top, for an accent nail. I simply painted my ring finger with Cult Nails Tempest (which btw is my new go-to white) then once that was dry, stamped with Bundle Monster's image plate BM-423, using KBShimmer's Rollin' With the Chromies. I like the soft look it gave, and am really pleased with how it turned out.

Alright guys and gals, I think that pretty much covers it for today.  I hope you are all enjoying your week, and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am! Till next time!

Zoya Arizona, Zoya Dove and KBShimmer Greyscale, Halloween Get Together.

Hey Guys!!

It is almost Halloween, and so I thought it was probably a good idea to get a  festive Halloween mani up on the blog! I love Halloween, I find it to be such a fun holiday! Plus, Halloween is candy, candy, candy and I have a borderline addiction to all things candy! So Halloween and myself are pretty tight!

I had tons of fun doing this, like I have mentioned many, many times before, I am still fairly new to the nail world, so this was my first Halloween inspired mani! I really like how this turned out. It is fun, crazy and festive, which for me is just perfect for Halloween.

Isn't it fun looking!? Sadly, I am not doing much for Halloween this year. It seems to be one of those years, where I ask around if anyone wants to do anything fun, and everyone says "Nah, I think I will just stay in this year"  At least I can celebrate with some bad horror flicks and my festive mani though!

To get this look, I started with a base of Zoya - Arizona on my thumb, pointer and pinky fingers, and a base of Zoya - Dove on my middle and ring fingers.  I let that dry a bit, then took out KBShimmer - Greyscale, and put it over the fingers with the orange base.  There was a bit of glitter placement since the glitters are so large, but nothing major. That glitter topper applies pretty effortlessly.  Then I took out a sponge and added Zoya - Dove and Zoya - Arizona in a checkered like pattern, and sponged that onto my middle and ring fingers. Once that was dry (sped up with a quick dry top coat)  I took out Bundle Monster Plate BM-415 and stamped the image onto my middle and ring fingers, and voila! I was done!

This mani didn't take to long to do, especially now that I am starting too really improve with my stamping skills. It is, and has been an awesome learning experience, and I am not perfect yet, but I am getting there! I am really enjoying watching my progress happen with stamping. It is neat to see myself grow and learn with it.

Alright guys and gals, I think that pretty much covers it for one day.  Even though I am not doing much for Halloween I am still really looking forward to it. Do any of you guys have any awesome fun Halloween plans? I know aside from bad horror flicks, Rocky Horror Picture Show will be on my list, how can it not be!? It is THE Halloween movie!! :P Anyway, till next time Kittens.

KShimmer: Teal Another Tail Swatches and Review

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I had the entire weekend off from work, for the first time in, oh my gosh! 6 months maybe!?  I spent the weekend relaxing, catching up on some house work, and of course, a little nail art!! :P It was great, and I  am so glad, that the slower season is here with work, so that weekends off, won't be so rare!

Today I have a polish from the KBShimmer fall collection, Teal Another Tail to be exact.  I absolutely adore this colour. Not only is it  a gorgeous gorgeous, almost emerald green, but it also has  a stunning purple shimmer, throughout it.  I was just mesmerized, by how pretty this colour is, the whole time I had it on.  I was constantly moving my hands to catch it in the light, and being awed every single time. The only downside, was how distracting this polish was to have on my nails.

If you have been on the fence about this polish, or any of the polishes, from the KBShimmer fall collection. I highly, highly recommend picking some, or all of them up. Every single polish is, simply put, amazing. I got the whole collection, and will be showing it off  in the coming weeks.  As a fun fact, this was actually my first entire collection purchase. I am pretty new to nail polish, as I have mentioned before, and have always  just picked up the polishes from collections that I consider to be "must haves".  When I started seeing images of the KBShimmer fall collection, I simply couldn't seem to pick any favourites out. I kept trying to only pick out a few, but couldn't seem to settle on which ones were my "must haves" so eventually, I caved and got the entire thing. In the end, I am really glad I did, cause like I said before they are all simply stunning. The application  of this was of course, awesome. I don't think I have come across a difficult KBShimmer yet.

Alright, now that I have been a total cheerleader for this collection, it is time to finally show it off, so you all can see why I am totally enamored with it!

The accent nail is OPI - My Vampire is Buff for the base , then Essie - Play Date,  Zoya - Shawn, and KBShimmer - Teal Another tail for the dots.

I had to show off my thumb, since it adds to the look.

I just love the purple shimmer.

And here is the entire collection, just in case you  haven't seen it.

R to L: Turbulence, You Autumn Know, You Go Ghoul, Vicious Circles,  Every Nook & Cranberry,  Teal Another Tail, Excuse me, I Blurped.

I know, I know a bit picture heavy, I seem to be saying that a lot! I don't mean to be spamming with pictures week after week! I just had so much  fun taking pictures that I got a bit carried away, plus I have been working on some of my photography skills, lighting and colour accuracy, that I just couldn't help myself! I really think I have some solid improvements here, and I wanted to show that off a bit!  Still a ways to go yet, but getting there at least!  You also likely noticed I have added a watermark to my photos. I thought it a good idea to start branding them. I tried a few different colours and styles here, and haven't settled on anything yet, but will soon I am sure.

Okay guys, I think that pretty much covers it. I hope you enjoy the images, as much as I enjoyed taking them! Till next time Kittens!!

P.S. **Incoming shamless plug for myself!!**  I recently got a Instagram, and Pintrest account and have added follow buttons at the top of the blog. If you feel so inclined, feel free to follow me there :D

Nail Art: KBShimmer Oh Splat! with a Gradient and Heart Stud Rhinestones.

Hey Guys!!

Above is my recent, and rather large polish haul, from Harlow & Co.  It all started when I heard  they were planning on restocking KBShimmer, and to make good news even better, It was all going to be on sale.  I knew at that point, that I wouldn't be able to resist, so I  started making a list of my top polish picks. Now KBShimmer is fairly new me, and there were tons I wanted to get my paws on. Well, one thing turned into another, and next thing I knew I was buying WAY to many. Although, can you honestly ever have to many KBShimmer polishes!?  I don't think so, but my bank account would certainly disagree with that statement!

A couple of days ago, the mailman brought my much anticipated package. After the excitement of  awesome nail mail wore off. I got down to business deciding on which to use first, and how I wanted it to end up on my nails. I won't lie, there was a bit of Google searching for ideas, and a bit of  "This one!..no, no wait, this one!.. I just can't decide, so many options!"  but finally, I ended up with what I am almost certain is a universal favourite of Oh Splat!

With a polish picked, and a nail art idea in my head, I got to work. I did a gradient on my pointer, pinky, and thumb, that grabbed the colours of the glitters in Oh Splat! Then I did 2 accent nails with Oh Splat! on my middle, and ring fingers. I also added small heart stud rhinestones that were purchased a while back from Born Pretty Store. I think that the hearts really tied everything together nicely.  Then of course top coat, to finish everything off.

Speaking of top coat, I wanted to make mention of a new to me top coat. I used KBShimmer's Clearly on Top, for the first time, and let me just say, I am impressed. I found the dry time to be a fraction slower then Seche Vite, maybe by about 5-10 minutes at most, but for almost half the price, and the same level of shine and (for me) less shrinkage on my nails. I may have a new favourite. Will have to use it more then once to be sure, but so far I am really loving this top coat.  If you haven't tried it yet, and don't mind that it isn't 3-free, then I highly suggest you pick it up. You won't regret it!

Anyway enough chit chat about all this, time to have a look at the results!

I had to get the thumb in there, since the thumb really completes the look!

Another thumb shot.

I am really proud of how this turned out. Not only do I think that my gradients are getting better each time I do them, but I really like how each finger is needed for the whole look to complete itself.  I also adore how sweet and fun and colourful this look is.

Alright guys and gals, it's late and I am sleepy, so I think that pretty much covers everything I wanted to share, and don't forget to leave a comment. I want to know if you were here! Don't be shy! Till next time kittens! Be safe, and don't forget, glitter can solve almost any problem! :D

Polishes I used for this were:
OPI - My boyfriend Scales the Walls  (White base)

Nail Art: Fan Brush Technique and Dotted Thumb with KBShimmer What's Your Damage Accent.

Hey guys! or more accurate, the 2 people who I make look at this!

For my second post,  I decided to pull a picture out of my banner, since that image doesn't  do it nearly enough justice. I also  wanted something a bit more vibrant and colourful. Nails that express me a bit better, and this manicure was practically screaming my name. While I do love understated and simple. Most of the time, I am a very loud, colourful type of person.

Now, I am still very much a newborn when it comes to nail art, so this wasn't perfect by any means, but overall, I was very happy with how well it turned out. Since other than the dots on my thumb, it was my very first time trying the fan brush technique.  I loved it so much in fact, that I wore it for about 4-5 days before taking it off. Alright, enough explaining it, time to show it off!

Not perfect, but I still adore it!!

Blurry image fail, but I still adore it!!

Random bottle image of  KBShimmer - What's your damage..which by the way, I love love love!

So there you have it!! Some of the images aren't the greatest, but a lot of these were taken as quick pictures to show a couple of people. I promise, that the image quality will improve!!  I just adored this manicure so much, that I felt I simply had to share it. Failboat images and all!

One thing I wanted to also mention quick, was how amazing What's Your Damage truly is, not only is it a gorgeous unique polish, but the formula is amazing. It goes on like a total dream and no fishing for the larger glitter pieces at all. I do however stand my bottle upside down before application to ensure the larger glitters aren't sunk to the bottom, but still no fishing!!

I think that pretty much covers it. As an added bonus, the polishes I am wearing in the random KBShimmer bottle picture, are  Essie - Tart Deco and China Glaze - Highlight of My Summer. I was actually so excited when What's Your Damage arrived in the mail, that I pulled  it out and snapped a picture and proceeded to send it too way to many people in my contact list!  Anyway, till next time kittens!

The polishes I used were:
Index and middle - KBShimmer - What's your Damage
Ring,  pinky and thumb  - KBShimmer -  Don't Pink Twice                                                                                and China Glaze - Highlight of My Summer.
