All Hearts for Bliss Polish Yvette

Hi Guys!

Happy Friday! Today, I want to show off a couple polishes, that I recently won in a giveaway on Instagram. If you follow me there, you know all about this! If you don't, well, you really should be! :P  Either way, I recently won a giveaway that Bliss Polish was having, and there was some super awesome polishes in there that I couldn't wait to try out! One of them being Bliss Polish Yvette. Which is a super creamy, beach sand coloured  nude, with a soft linear holo.

This was my first time trying a Bliss Polish, and let me just say, it certainly won't be my last. This was a dream to apply. It wasn't to thick, or to thin, it was simply perfect, and that colour..seriously...no words..! When I opened the package, and saw that super unique nude linear holo I knew it had to end up on my nails as soon as possible! It doesn't lean to yellow, or to pink, it seems to fall perfectly in the middle. I honestly think it would suit most skin tones. The holo is stronger in person, but still on the softer side,  however  it suits the polish and gives it a magical fairytale feel. There is just something so elegant about Yvette, and I am just head over heels in love it.

To get this look, I started with a base of Yvette on my pointer and ring fingers, a base of Island Girl Surfer Babe (another polish from the giveaway) on my middle finger and thumb (not shown), and a base of Indigo Bananas A Star to Sail By on my ring finger. Once that was dry, I stamped using Vivid Lacquer Plate VL009 in Mundo De Unas Purple. The studs are from Born Pretty Store.

There is so much for me to love about this look, that I am not even sure where to start. I  love the soft elegance of Yvette, and I love the sea foam green of Surfer Babe (which does leans less blue in person), and you seriously need to see the level of bling that A Star to Sail By has going on. It is a rose gold silver flakie polish, that is opaque in 3 thin coats. I am also love the purple hearts, and the studs pull it all together perfectly for me!

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today. My favourite person in the whole world flies in today, and  I am pretty excited to be spending the next week with him, although we still haven't decided what to do for the holiday yet! :P Speaking of holiday, does anyone have any awesome plans!? We need some ideas!! :P So let me know in the comments! Till next time Kittens! <3

#RedCoatTuesday OPI Red Polka Dots and Lace

Hey Guys!

It's another Red Coat Tuesday and that means red nails!  This weeks Red Coat nails  are super sultry, and something I have been wanting to do for a while. I used OPI Big Apple Red for this look. Which is a great classic red shade.

To get this look, I started with a base of OPI Big Apple Red on my pointer, middle and pinky fingers, and a base of Loaded Lacquer Toasted Marshmallow on my thumb (not shown) and ring fingers. Once, that was dry, I stamped all the red nails with Vivid Lacquer Plate VL28 in Cult Nails Nevermore, and placed dots using a dotting tool on my thumb and ringer finger in OPI Big Apple Red. I outlined the nails using a black striping polish. I top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I really, really love how these came out,  this was my first time outlining nails with black striping polish, and I think for a first attempt, they turned out awesome! Even if I have such a curve in my nails that you can't always see the black outline along the sides! :P I really think these nails would be PLL approved, since what is sexier and and more sultry then black lace!?

Alright guys and gals, I know I was a bit late getting this up today! Things have been a bit hectic around here, but I hope you liked my red and black lace nails as much as I did! Has anyone else been totally on the lace trend too? Till next time Kittens! <3 Blogger:

Serum No 5: Glowin' of Eden is so Awesome Blossom Together!

Hiya Guys!

Today I have for you a super adorable, spring like mani, using some Serum No5 polishes. These were released in the spring, but I haven't worn them till now, and even if it is a bit out of season, I am still loving these polishes. I used Glowin' Of Eden and Awesome Blossom in today's post.

First, let me start off by saying, I had a little fail with these nails, and at first I wasn't going to share these with you guys, but then I remembered that I want this blog to document it all. The good, the bad, and downright terrible, so posted they were! Now, let me explain what happened,  the stamp transferred cleanly, however, since it was a scribble like design, the tips look like it didn't, since those were the tops of the hearts that went off the tip of the nail so it ended up just looking a bit messy, I should have lined the stamp up a bit better, but I learned, and will know better for next time. When you are not up close you can't tell at all, so even with that small bit of fail on my part, I still love, love how this turned out, not to mention it is so fun in the dark!

To get this look, I started with a base of Glowin of Eden on all my fingers. It was a bit sheer, at least for me, perhaps since my nails are longer, and to get rid of all VNL I ended up with 4 thin coats, it wasn't a huge issue, but something I thought I would note. I think next time I use this polish, I will start with a white base. Once that was dry, I taped my thumb (not shown) pointer, and pinky fingers and painted Awesome Blossom onto the tips. I sponged on in a checkered pattern Glowin' Of Eden and Awesome Blossom onto my middle and ring fingers, and then stamped over that in Vivid Lacquer plate VL 009. I then top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on top and voila!  glowy nails!

Overall, despite my slight stamping fail, which in hindsight I should have fixed, I still really adore this look, and can see myself wearing these glow polishes over and over again. Plus, charging them up and playing with them in the dark is so much fun! :P I am such a dork sometimes! Ha Ha!

Alright guys and gals, I think that covers it for today, I hope everyone is having a great week. I know, I missed Red Coat Tuesday again this week, but between school and general summer chaos I just lost track of time, and they didn't get done. I did watch the episode though, and the thing I have been hoping would happen, happened!. I have so much Caleb love it is ridiculous, I can't help it, his awesome makes my heart happy! Anyway, till next time Kittens! <3
